Family Fun at Purity Spring Resort

In this day and age, resort vacations usually involve water parks, too much alcohol, and family separation. Don’t let the draw of a tropical hotel and spa hypnotize you and your family into taking a meaningless vacation.

It’s still possible to have a fun getaway without palm trees and tequila. Purity Spring Resort in New Hampshire offers an opportunity to not only steer clear of over traveled all-inclusive resorts but also to enjoy a relaxing and immersive family experience.

For over 100 years, the Hoyt family has been offering guests a family-friendly experience at Purity Spring Resort. It’s impossible not to have a good time with your family at this one-of-a-kind lakeside resort.

The summertime is prime time for visiting Purity Spring because there’s just so much to do. Archery, kayak and canoe trips, arts and crafts, waterskiing, and swimming are just some of the summer activities available at Purity Spring.

Wakeboarding, where you are towed by a wakeboard boat,  is another skill guests can master at the resort. Guests can also hike, mountain bike, and much more.

Everyone and their mother could book a stay at Purity Spring Resort on the same exact weekend and there would still be room left over.

The Inn, Millbrook, The Mill, Hillside and Fireside Cottages, Lakeside Cottage, King Pine Lodging, and various condos make it incredibly difficult to be left waiting for rooms to open up.

Lodging areas come with various amenities such as wifi, microwaves, and coffeemakers.

Also available to Purity Spring guests is the Mill Pool and Fitness Center, which includes a 50-foot-long pool, a large collection of cardiovascular and weight machines, a hot tub, and more.

“There is really no need to leave”

“In addition to the scenery, amenities, and activities available, Purity Spring Resort is a unique family retreat because once you arrive here on vacation, there is really no need to leave,” says Director of Marketing for Purity Spring Resort, Thomas Prindle.

And because there’s a fantastic restaurant on site to provide meals, there really is no need to leave. Unlike many other lodging properties, Purity Spring Resort offers certain packages that include three square meals per day during your stay.

And with said meals coming from Traditions Restaurant and Pub, guests will surely be pleased with the food.

On Thursday evenings during the summer, Traditions offers Summer Lobster and Steak Cookouts. And the restaurant also offers a Grand Table Buffet on Friday evenings during the summer.

Prindle touches on the wonderful setting and atmosphere of Traditions Restaurant and Pub, saying, “With its lakeside location, Traditions Restaurant & Pub is also a great location to enjoy a summer cocktail, seasonal sangria or local draft on the porch.”

Fall and Winter, Too

Sure, lake vacations may be more enjoyable in summer. But just because the leaves start to change color and the temperature begins to cool doesn’t mean you and your family can’t still enjoy scenic New Hampshire at Purity Spring.

The autumn season still sees plenty of guests eager to kayak, canoe, mountain bike, and hike at Purity Spring Resort. There may not be much water skiing on the lake during the fall, but vacationers can instead enjoy a serene and tranquil experience.

Let’s not forget where the Purity Spring Resort is located: New Hampshire. This means snow, snow, and more snow. And Purity Spring Resort is well accustomed to its wintry setting.

King Pine Ski Area

Purity Spring has its own King Pine Ski Area with multiple trails and lifts where guests can ski, snowboard, and tube.

If you’re not a skier, snowboarder, or tuber, you can cross country ski, snowshoe, and ice skate elsewhere. The resort also offers ski camps for kids, as well as various events and offerings for all ages.

It’s clear that no matter which season you choose to visit the Purity Spring Resort, you can enjoy a family-friendly experience. If you don’t come here for the sole reason of fun family experience, then you should come for what Thomas Prindle calls a “classic, full-resort experience” and the “mountain scenery and clean, lake living serenity.”
