    Another great idea, and one I employ myself, is just to take a carry on with you as luggage on your cruise, and hey presto, on disembarkation day you can just leave the ship whenever you want! (Well up to the last scheduled luggage time).

    People who are doing a first time cruise would do well to know that they can eat breakfast aboard on the last day. Usually the dining room is open as well as the buffet. You did not mention anything about this and I’m sure they would be curious as to obtaining this last meal before debarking.
