It looks like an amazing trip. It gives me a much better perspective of a similar trip I am planning. As always, Tab, you are the best providing your experience with such details and passion. Thank you.

I have been looking at different safari outfits and ways to plan a trip for myself, traveling alone though, without my husband. I’ve read so many articles on unscrupulous reserves supporting canned hunts. This article provides so much great info. I not only plan to bring my cameras, but I hope to bring watercolors and paper for some plein air sketches. Thanks for organizing all of this information. Great article and great writing!! If you go back, can I come too? ; )

Great photos Tab. Fab to see you and Maureen continuing your global odyssey. We’re on the Silver Explorer through the Panama Canal in October. Fancy joining us?

Wonderful trip. Thanks for sharing this story with us. I enjoyed the beautiful pictures and especially the short videos that show the animals moving.

Highly enjoyable reading a splendid article where we had the great pleasure of actually sharing two of the days described above in the pleasant company of Tab and his wife. We remember well (and thus can confirm) the crocodiles eating their antilope breakfast and the car stuck in the water sandbank, amongst others. Great days, great 13-day trip (for us), great safaris, absolutely worth the price we spent, and vividly described by Tab above. Thanks for reliving those great adventures in writing and pictures.

When I showed Darlene the video of the lions walking by your open 4X4 she decided safaris are not on her bucket list. Great photos – especially the family of cheetas
