I have to agree with the previous commentator. I travelled as a single woman as part of a tour group a year ago. An American. I was treated better there than any trip I have ever been on. I was never worried about being followed or listened to, I followed the rules, listened to my guide and had a fantastic time. And your comment on not being fooled by Iran’s physical normalcy?? Don’t be fooled about what you read in the US media. That should be your message.

And seriously, your title, Women visit the Enemy?? You might want to rethink that. It’s a beautiful place. Stop using stupid partisan hatred to get clicks. You are appealing to the lowest common denominator, not travellers.

Lori you make some valid points, the author had suggested that title but I think we will change that.

Your reports seem very biased, and seem to reinforce stereotypes of racial ethinic differences without extoling the virtues.
So little insight, the highlight being a telephone in the shahs palace,
My suggestion is don,t travel it doesn,t seem to broaden your horizons.
