Perillo Tours, the leading tour operator specializing in vacations to Italy for 70 years, has launched a new, national quarterly digital magazine, PERILLO TRAVELER. The magazine is sent free via email to 500,000 opted-in, high-end Perillo customers.

Published as a joint venture with Merritt Media Partners, custom publisher headquartered in Trumbull, CT, the advertising supported digital magazine
features in-depth articles about Italy as well as three other Perillo destinations -Hawaii, Greece and Costa Rica.

“As digital becomes more and more the norm and social media becomes an easy and convenient way to access information, we believe that educating people about travel in Italy and our other destinations will help educate them in future vacation planning,” said Steve Perillo, CEO of Perillo Tours.

In discussing the magazine’s content, David Soskin, PERILLO TRAVELER’S Editor-In-Chief said, “each issue of the magazine features in-depth reporting of a particular area of Italy. Our first issue featured Florence and Tuscany; our second, Rome, and our third, fall issue to be published in September, covers
Venice.”

“We try to give readers detailed coverage of what to visit, from the obvious to lesser-known venues, as well as unique excursions, the best places to stay, eat and shop. The magazine uses a lot of bold graphics and photography. We also include articles about Perillo Tours’ other destinations – Hawaii, Greece and Costa Rica.”

“In addition, we’ve developed a companion website, www.perillotraveler.com that incorporates the articles found in the first two issues of the magazine. Visitors to the website can now read the articles and each complete issue directly on the website. Each issue of the magazine is also posted on the Perillo Tours website (www.perillotours.com) and can be accessed free of charge to anyone visiting the website, including consumers or travel agents. Our social media campaign includes a Facebook page, a LinkedIn profile and a Twitter account so people
can find us anywhere.”
