The Dolomites offer the best of the mountain for each family member: sports of all kinds, educational tours, games, multimedia and wellness facilities in a car-free island at two thousand meters above sea level that changes the way people think about tourism.

The summer season kicked off in the park that has beaten a new path of discovery in the DolomitesMovimënt is a car-free island two thousand meters above sea level: 32 km² of woods, meadows, pools of water, and themed areas dedicated to sports enthusiasts, nature lovers, and families with children. The idea behind the park is, in fact, to enclose the best the mountain has to offer and make it accessible to everyone.

The focus of the park is eco-sustainability, outdoor sports, and activities for kids and young people to learn while having fun. There are five themed areas, accessible only by lifts or woodland paths from Corvara, La Villa, and San Cassiano. The areas themselves are connected by trails for e-bikes or special mountain strollers.

The new features for 2015 includea weekly program accompanied by mountain guides, sports instructors, and operators; 40 brand-new e-bikes, which can be rented at six points downhill or in the Movimënt areas; the new website that allows you to completely customise your vacation, choosing from dozens of possible activities and saving them on your personal profile.

For adults, there are 55 kilometers of trails, 15 climbing walls, speed hiking paths, outdoors fitness equipment, paragliding, e-mountain bike rental outlets, slackline areas, pools of water for Kneipp treatments with relaxation areas looking out over the peaks of the Dolomites, and gourmet dishes in mountain retreats.

For the kids, a holiday in Movimënt is an opportunity to have fun, stimulate the mind, and test their skills in complete safety: geocaching with GPS technology, orienteering, ecological mini-golf, adventure courses with lianas and trunks, educational courses dedicated to the microcosm of the Dolomites, to the brown bear’s “cave” with multimedia games, to the faces of the legends hidden in the rocks of the surrounding mountains, trick skiing areas, and more. For the little ones: water features and play areas with wooden slides and ropes, special mountain strollers, “paleontological sites” where they can find the remains of Ursus Ladinicus  (Museum) – the oldest bear specimen in the Dolomites, which was discovered in Alta Badia in the late 1980’s and lived in the region between 60 and 30 thousand years ago.

This is what is offered at Moviment for the summer of 2015: the best that the Dolomites have to offer, available for the whole family.
