    I just wanted to add that the correct name for “the colorful blouse” the woman making tortillas is huipil, not “huichol”. Huichol is a person pertaining to an indigenous culture found in the states of Nayarit, Jalisco and Durango.

    This is complete nonsense: “Getting to Merida is trickier and usually, you have to fly to Mexico City first which could add many hours to a long day of travel.”

      Todd that story was written in 2019, and we have removed that line because you’re right, it is not accurate. Thanks for pointing that out.
