Oh, I came here to ask you where it was taken but then I saw the labels. :-)

Hence, my next question. What was this part of? A painting on the glass? Or something else?

Very colourful indeed.

This is a story that is written long back by a chineese monk called kujanchu-monji-su.

He was a scholar and wrote this story with an inspiration from the samudra manthan in bhagavata purana.

The people displayed in the picture are the god's and the one with the plate in his hand resembles indra(in chineese called as majinaki-chi-ji). He is holding the plate to get the first drop of Amrut(chi-jang).

The others are smiling at the Asuras who were made fool by vishnus Alias Mohini(karti-vika-ji-jang).

The others in the picture are varun dev(moshan-man-ji), Surya(vasan-man-ji), Pavan(viichi-man-ji).

The moral of the story is dont kid Abhilash...otherwise kidding will loose its importance. :)

Tarun :D

Doli it was taken at Namdroling Monastery, Byalukuppe, near Coorg.

Nisha it was a mural on the wall of the monastery.

Hobo, peace should always be a possibility.

Abhilash, that is some story, thank you for that.

Abhilash yes I refer to my nephews as Brat 1 and 2 as they are the eldest. Then comes my niece and she is brat 3 and finally my daughter is Brat 4. So welcome to the kid club. :D
