Attractions at Bundi- 84 Pillar Cenotaph

84 Pillar Cenotaph, The Information Board Bundi

As we can see this structure was built in 1740 and it is a place of worship for Lord Shiva.

When we visited it local people were playing cards there.

84 Pillar Cenotaph is one of the Attractions at Bundi

I thought I can discuss one attraction at a time. There are comments by Abhilash and Being Bindas asking why I went to Bundi! The short answer is that it is recommended on Indiamike and it is a little off the beaten track.

They might have taken the Lord Shiva's prasad and then started playing cards..

Second picture is nice

The information board reminds me the definition of panda 'eats, shoots and leaves'

Note the line 'It's a piece of Archeology' Chinese English?

Anil, Bundi is 35 KM from Kota in Rajasthan.

Shrinidhi yes it reads like that too :D

Tarun, :D I clicked the board because otherwise I would not remember a thing about the place. I agree though that it is 'panda eats shoots and leaves' kind of information.

Thanks for the link to india mike. Now I understand why you went to Bundi.

See the words written.Raja ne 84 pillars ka nirmaan bhagvaan shiv ki pooja hetu karvaya tha... and you see the people... They found it a place to play cards...

I should say, it is a clear example of happy birthday. Are you wondering why I say so?

This is because we normally dont beat or scold them on there birthday. So it might be the birthday of someone among the card players who was well confient not to be beaten. :)

See, they can read hindi and they understand for what it has been made and then such a behaviour.

They are gona rock India...
