I went to Agra in March 2009 and it had already become quite hot. I saw this foreign tourist catching up on sleep at the edge of the Diwan-e-Aam. And yet it was only 11 am or so.

I was in Agra in April. Blistering hot like any other town in North India.
The tourist is in the right spot, doing the right thing :-)
Taking advantage of the 'natural air-conditioning' that nearly all Mughal-era buildings tend to have, perhaps...
