these vendors are clever... I usually tell them "I dont want ice in the juice" so instead of adding ice to the glass they put some ice directly under that machine where juice is extracted, so that their purpose is served...
Sidhu, in my younger days yes, but not now, I can't stomach it. I remember though one shop in Jainagar in Bangalore where a cleaner version of this concept existed and I enjoyed the sugar cane juice there a lot.
Thanks for reminding me about the ice story Shrinidhi and Maverick.
Lakshmi hope you will write that soon.
I know Shrinidhi, next time.
Sujata, I too like eat sugar cane more than the juice.
I started 'Travel Tales from India' my India Travel Blog quite reluctantly. But it has become an anchor for my writing now. I use this blog to write 'off topic' stuff too.
I have two passions, to travel in India (mostly) and then talk about it. My second passion is reading.
My India travel blog was once linked at BBC and The Guardian. All my stories published at Gonomad can be viewed from this writer profile page. Interested in more India Travel Blogs?

But the main subject-the sugar cane machine and juice are missing in the frame...A click from a different angle would have helped...
