A Mild Earthquake, Literally!

I was at my sister's place and had to start early to reach my place so that I could come to work. My little niece was as usual was keeping her US hours in India. So, she and my sis were making a lot of racket from time to time. In between around 4..45 am I woke up and thought everything around me is shaking. Then it passed. I convinced myself that I must have been feeling dizzy and rolled back to sleep.

Later, when I woke up at 6.15 am (something that I rarely do!) my sister told me it was really a mild earthquake.

I woke up...realised that it was an earth-quake, and went right back to sleep as soon as it was over...all over the span of a few seconds...

:D

I remember once we had a similar mild tremor in B'lore and we slept thru' it...only in the morning when people were talking about it did we realize what had occured...

On some previous occasions, I too have thought that it must be me!! But this time I realized what it was and ran downstairs in what seemed to be the middle of the night!

Sigma, I actually had the mattress on the floor, otherwise when the bed starts shaking I am usually able to make out an earthquake.
