No One in Sight!
A Small Bus Stop Near BharmourWe went to Bharmour in December 2005. I remember it was damn cold. I was going through the old photographs and found this one. We were walking from Bharmour to Hadsar and on the way we crossed this luggage waiting for a bus with no one else in sight. I mean, in bigger cities we can't even dream of leaving anything unattended.

I accidentally stumbled upon your blog while searching for travel tips for 'Leh'. I am planning to visit Leh in June-July of 2008, and if it's OK with you, I'll like to get some travel tips from you - especially, on Leh-Pangong Lake roundtrip.

You made me remember my ManiMahesh experience. This place, every thing beyond Bharmour, was exactly like this. I remember woodcutters returning home after spending whole summers (away from families) in dark jungles. Hadsar was really a ???????? place.
I saw your traffic jam photo on bbc. I hope you submitted it!
