Sometimes Planning a Vacation Feels Like Work!

Labels: Travel
I maintain an India Travel Blog which I started reluctantly but now has become an anchor for my writing. I have two passions. The first is to travel in India (mostly) and talking about it at this blog. The second passion is reading. My India travel blog was once linked at BBC and The Guardian. All my stories published at Gonomad can be viewed from this writer profile page. Interested in more India Travel Blogs?

Excellent one :-)
Easy to understand but hard to follow/complete all of them.
:-) Cool one....You wont beleive what I did for my latest trip to Coorg....Maintained a neat tour plan and then after return did a pie chart analysis to understand how we had spent the money and which part of the trip consumed more cash etc. :-) But brighter side of it is it helped in excuting the plan very well and also acts as an input to next trip.
I love the planning part for big trips with many people....but it does lack the thrill involved in an un-planned trip.
haha i totally understand wat ur talking about - but yes unplanned trips are totally worth it too - more adventure, less tension about not being able to keep up with the plan coz there's no plan!!

Even a veteran like u?
There is no ATM in KAZA, however you can find a slow speed internet which cost around 60 Rs per hour. However if you head further then you can find SBI Branch in Gondola near Koksar. Best is to take money from Shimla there are some ATMs. Good Luck- Deepak
Pijush, thank you.
Ajeya, that is something! Thanks for sharing but it can be a blog post in itself.
Ishwar, will hop over to your blog soon. How are plans for the Ladakh trip coming along?
Smita, definitely yes :)
Deepak, thanks for the information. Since we plan to travel via Manali, I will remember to get a lot of cash there if need be.
Wondeful place .Would love to go there.
VJ, maybe next year? In fact the season is late July to September, so why not this year itself?
