I maintain an India Travel Blog which I started reluctantly but now has become an anchor for my writing. I have two passions. The first is to travel in India (mostly) and talking about it at this blog. The second passion is reading. My India travel blog was once linked at BBC and The Guardian. All my stories published at Gonomad can be viewed from this writer profile page. Interested in more India Travel Blogs?

That's a wonderful photo.
I'm always a little bemused by how temples - at least the simple ones - are so similar the world around, no matter how different the people might be. Perhaps we're not all so different, after all?

Looks like an ancient ancient idol ....
Wonder how people managed to climb the hills and build temples and palaces in those areas centuries ago!
Pijush I wrote about this trek for a site here.
Well said Priyank :)
Anon, thanks for your comment.
Teri thanks for sharing that observation and you have changed your screen name!
Sigma, this was a very simple temple, just some bricks laid over each-other and this idol but it is beautiful.
