China Expat and Some of My Pictures
One day lat month, I got a mail from the China Expat folks. They said they wanted to use a few of my pictures from Sikkim on their website (with due credit and link back to this blog not a paid one). They used one of my pictures for their cover. And the top picture (before the start of the article) plus pictures number 3,4 and 5 in the article about The Ancient Tea-Horse Road are mine.
It gives me such a thrill to see my pictures on their site, plus the interaction with them was such a pleasure. Here is one more from Sikkim.

Hmm, right Cuckoo.
Priyank, thanks.
Vi, recognized is a big word, occasional requests looks more like it :)
Maverick, you really want to to put the whole long list of it? It would be too much word :) Still thanks for the kind words both to you and Vi.
Another feather to your cap! way to go ma'am :)
It is a very well composed photograph.
Prashanth and Sidhu, thank you so much.
Hi Mridula,
Your blogs are amazing. My concern about the Chinese was that Chinese have always claimed Sikkim as their own.
I suspect if this a part of Chinese media to project / distort reality of Sikkim merger.
Thanks Bharat for your comments. I mainly write from a tourist's perspective and really did not think much about China Sikkim angle. And the lady for the website who asked for the photos is an Indian lady!
I have been thinking of taking the road. And hence the search for travel related blogs.
Have frozen to visit 7 Jyotirlings by road. this is a beginning.
Do visit my blog on http://jyotirlingayatra.blogspot.com/
And Sorry about bringing a political angle to whole thing but in 1962 when China attacked India, the communists (Somanath Chatterjee, Dange, and other communist traitors) welcomed it.
Just to put the "Indian lady" part in perspective.
Bharat, thanks for the comment again. I guess I need to be more careful in the future? Did you find something objectionable in the article where my pictures have been used?
