My Gadgets Have a Will of Their Own
After a looooong time I got to know that my laptop has finally started working today. I had actually given up on it. Also got my camera (the new one) back. Thought it was my lucky day, the gadgets are coming to their senses. Only to find that my camera CF card is giving Error 99 whatever it means. Google search reveals that this error could be due to anything, lens dirt, contact points, card itself, battery contact ... Well, the camera goes back to the Canon service center.

The camera needs even more careful handling, it seems.
Right Sidhu and the sad part is, I have not even figured it out properly.
I wanted to tell you that I had the same thing happen to my camera. I don’t know what kind of Cannon you have. I have a Rebel something or other. I bought a Sigma lens for it (not a Cannon one) and apparently the treads were stripped, causing error 99. Hopefully this is relevant an/or helpful to your situation.
Daine, I too have Canon Rebel 350 D. So how easy or difficult is it to fix it? And thanks a lot for sharing the comment.
