On the Kamla Bhatt Show
I met Kamla at Global Voices Conference (though due to time constraints, I have dropped out of GV network) at New Delhi. When she said she wanted to talk to Sakshi and me for her show I was intreguied.
The show is on air now. And if I am laughing so much, you can hold Kamla responsible. She had such interesting questions and I do love to talk about travel. And as I said in the previous post, thanks to her that I have started scribbling notes while I travel.

Gotta taken a listen when I get home :). You have been on the BBC too right with Leez Ducette (sp?).
Wow! You are becoming famous!!
:D
Sanjay, yes, once on the Talking Point' of the BBC I did talk for a while and what thrilled me most was that the expert on the show was Amratya Sen! Lyce Ducet was anchoring it.
Sidhu, fame wame saab moh maya hai! What do you say?
It's good that you are famous for all the right reasons!
:)
I wonder why this new blogger is making some people with proper accounts anaonymous!
Mridula,
Ah, i see that my earlier comment never really made it to you - i guess some trouble with the 'new blogger'.
I heard your chit-chat with Kamla - she does ask unexpected questions. I have liked quite a few of her podcasts.
I loved your suggestion about getting off at the last bus stop and staying there. Made me remember the time when we had gone to Gharwal area about 15 years back for a trek, and one of the guys fell sick. So we ended up staying at the base camp for 3 days and then taking a bus back home. Still it was one of the best holidays.
do get in touch if you plan a trip to Diu. mail rg1008 at gmail dot com
Rajeev, thanks a lor for the comment. You were trekking 15 years back! Now that is something. It will take me another 11 years or so to say 'when I was trekking 15 yeras back.' Now if I think of it, my first trek was 4 years back but it feels just a few months back.
I will definitely get in touch with you for Diu as soon as we fix a month for it.
My trekking days are long over :). Thats why I keep coming back to your space here, you take me back to the Himalayas. I can completely understand Sesha's blanket refusal to go anywhere else :). Left to me, all our hols would be up in the mountains. I did take my family (including my less than 2 year old daughter) to Nako lake high up in Kinnaur - that too in early March.
BTW, I believe that trek is still a good one for winters- the Nag Tibba one - starts from Tehri area.
