Now That I Am About To Go On Vacation, Can I Afford To Fall Sick?
Sheesh, I did not take a single day sick leave when the semester was on. And now that just a few days remain before I head for Sikkim (with the new DSLR too, I finally got it but have to figure it out yet, I can work it only in the auto mode as of now) I am not feeling well. Nothing too much wrong till now and I hope it remains that way. Maybe, I have to stop asking everyone at work about their vacation plans. And when a few of them say they have none, I should stop the gleeful "I am going on vacation from ..." with a twinkle in the eye routine.
Sesha has already threatened that he will go alone if I am foolish enough to fall sick. And going by the past experience, he is quite capable of it. It feels like Calvin (Calvin and Hobbes fame) falling ill on a holiday!

hmm testing times. looks like its effect season change. get well soon. your audience wants to see Sikkim pictures(and that too with the new camera). ;-)

Qaminante, Ketan and Prashanth, thanks a lot for your wishes. I do feel much better today. So looks like I will not feel like 'Calvin sick on a holiday' for much longer :)
Prashanth, as of now I have just the lense that came with the kit 17-55 someting. I do plan to buy a zoom lense as soon as possible. Already, the camera broke my bank :)

I can vouch that a DSLR is a different beast compared to your usual point and shoot...took some time getting used to!

Deepak, good to learn that you are going on vacation too :) I think I am over-doing the gleeful act but it comes so naturally.
About the DSLR thanks for sharing your thoughts, when I switch it on and see thousand parameters demanding attention, I just feel like going back to the auto mode. So, I will be patient with myself and the camera.
