Two More Weeks: Till then I Remember the Har-Ki-Doon Trek

Roughly two weeks later, we will trek in Uttranchal again. I am counting the days, till we see such places again. I think this is as close to paradise as I will ever get.

Always used to the sound of the traffic, it is something else to sleep to the sound of the river. In our Har-Ki-Doon trek, our camp at Seema was quite close to this river.

After roaming in such open spaces our three bedroom house seems so cramped but we get so tired after walking for a week or so, we are ready to crash.

Sunsets are special time, the atmosphere is so beautiful and it happens almost every day of the trek.
The flowers end up in my hair many a times!

Another fabulous sunset at Kedar Kanta! I have written in much more detail about this trek here.

Suyog, thanks, I do have many more pictures from this trek and maybe I will do one more post before I go for trekking this year.

TT, I do love the outdoors and if I could (Indian rupees do not convert well into dollors) I will love to visit Alaska. Seems like paradise when they show it on the Discovery Channel!

Pooja, we do not trek as frequently as we would like to :( So don't be jealous.

Travel Plaza, thank you.

Nice pics but I bet they do no justice to being there.
I stayed in north India for couple of months but I was unable to travel.. You are very lucky to be living close to so many beautiful places.
have you visited Rishikesh? I have plans to go rafting there for 3-4 days and see the life on the river.

Alter Abhikshek, I hope you do travel and to many interesting places.

Teri thanks.

Arun, this time it is to a place you just came back from, only we will be trekking from Auli and not sking, your pictures of Auli are amazing.

GK, you hit it on the head. Being there is somethign different altogether. I have been to Rishikesh but I have not done water rafting. Should be fun I guess.
