Thunder Strom in Delhi

As I was preparing to sleep at night, all the windows in my house started playing drums. High wind was blowing and we had to lock up every window to prevent it from breaking. Then I tried some photography but I have just one pick worth sharing. Here it goes. Has been taken at night when the sky was bright with lightening.

Now I am waiting for the power to come back! I tried making a few videos too but managed to capture mostly dark patches with just a few moments of lightening.

Isn't it summer in Delhi? Or these are non-seasonal rains?

These are non-seasonal rains. And it was fun to watch it yesterday night.

You took a picture of this tree to show how heavy the wind was?:P, Good at least it's not a tall building :p

I love thunderstorms! I run outside (well, onto a covered porch) to watch the sky and feel the electric air.

Interesting. This does not look like a night sky at all - its so lit up I guess because of the lightning.

Nah Suresh, I took the picture because I like taking pictures :)

Teri, I too was standing under a covered porch :)

Yes, Pooja, otherwise it was pitch dark.
