I get people directed from google search to my blog through the keyword 'picture of parathas.' So I decided to oblige those who want to see a picture of the Paratha! This is from a restaurant called 'Satyam' in Pathankot. We sat here while going to Bharmour. It is just next to the bus station and if you find yourself at Pathankot, do give this resstaurant a try. Nothing very extraordinary but basic and clean and light on your pocket.
That, and my mind is not functioning properly, there is a 'thought jam' there, hence this post.

Oh! your brain will come out of this "jam" soon. I am 200% confident!!
Yum, sometimes it is a shame we don't have smellyvision (and sometimes it is a very good thing indeed..).
Not sure what this must taste like but it looks good!
Ah....gimme those luvly Punjabi paranthas anyday!!
I just had bread pakodas, but looking at this I am feeling hungry again! :-(
YOU...............
Hmmm... yumy ones.. I always get to eat them when ever i want, but still I never feel bored.
Supremus, so is the Indian food abroad not the same? :)
Alka, it already seems to be functional.
Qaminante, smellyvision indeed would work both ways, i want one with on/off swicth :)
Crystal, try it some time.
Rebel on Loose, they feature on your lists too! I saw that.
Alka, you eat way too many aloo ka paratha anyway (folks she is my sister so I know). I should be coming to your place soon.
Zeon, I like them best when we are traveling to the hills, they acquire a different taste there.
I agree Mrids, Food acquires different tastes when they're tagged with something special!!
Ask a Bombay bloke How a WADA PAV tastes in the rains and how it tastes other wise!!
paratha's are always inviting though for me!! U seem to be getting qutie a few good food pics on ur blog.. How bout a foodie blog alongside a Travel one!!
wud feed my hunger!! i'm sure others will concur!! ;0)

Para, remember when you came to my blog, you said some aspects of my writing reminded you of your sis! Let me assure you my style of food blog can lead to only one thing: indigestion.
Iam interested in Indian food. I have no clue what a Paratha is, but, will look it up. I have become familiar w/Tamarind (have seen a couple of movies & have reconized the Tamarind tree) am quite proud of my-self. Working on curry, also. :)
Mrids,
Indigestion sounds familiar territory..With my kinda taste buds that love any thing from Street Junk to Gourmet.. A bad tummy is but an occupational hazard for my Digestive system.. Atleast i'd get to look at some great food and probably be quicker to decide what i wanna order at restaurants.. the waiters would be a relieved lot ;)
again u're not too far from wat my sis wud have said if i had asked her to do somthing like this!!
I still havent had the time to write at length abt the charity effort :0( .. but i have something really good that i recieved by email.. you can go check it on my blog!!
Cheers,
Para
