2007 thus far

January I mostly lay low, doing research for upcoming assignments. Within a few days I broke my one and only New Year's resolution of less work more play and was back to grafting 18+ hours a day.

Since then I've spent a week in Sri Lanka on the Tea Trails and have written a couple of article for tea industry publications. I've spent a weekend in Berlin, Germany and come away with a different outlook on life and wrote two features about my findings there.

I'm currently researching the Isle of Elba in Italy and the Monaco Grand Prix which I will be attending later this year.

I have three featured and one column due and which I need to get done in the next couple of weeks; then I can spend some time doing some serious research into my most immendiate projects - Kenya and Japan; and learn to play golf (golfing forms part of the Kenya assignment).

Then somewhere in between I need to research two rock bands I'm interviewing in April (Trivium, 69 Eyes and Wednesday 13).

Anybody figured out how to extend a day yet?
