Tracking Elephants in Namibia
Thanks to the Earthwatch Institute, volunteers from around the world come together with professionals to benefit the natural world with their vacation time. This particular expedition works with the elephants of Namibia, intelligent and highly social mammals, who live in the Namib Desert.
Teams of volunteers assist Dr. Keith Leggett in tracking the new elephants, as well as up to a dozen others that have previously been radio-collared. |
