Eating the French Countryside: Collecting and Cooking Edible Wild Plants
I recently did a study retreat on cooking French cuisine with wild edible plants with a French ethnobotanist called Francois Couplan. It was an amazing experience in French cuisine, culture and language.

Human remains have been found in the caves of the xxx River Valley. Pook's Hill Lodge: Discovering the Secrets of the Maya Heartland
Pook's Hill Lodge in Belize is also among the best places in all of Central America to see the archaeological investigations which are unearthing the secrets of the Maya heartland. One historic site of major importance is located right on the grounds of the lodge itself, where a team of archaeologists has recently uncovered an ancient Mayan sweat bath.

Visiting The "Untouchables" in India: Crushing Poverty and Inspiring Beauty The crushing poverty is mortifying and the polluted heat is exhausting but inevitably I am inspired by the beauty. Arizona Motorcycle Trip Fulfills Lifelong Dream
One of my goals in life was to ride the West on a motorcycle, and this goal has just been accomplished. My brother-in-law rented the H.D. Road Glide, and I rented the H.D. Dyna Low Rider. We rented the bikes for three days from Chester’s Harley Davidson in Mesa, Arizona and headed out for the open road.

Ombu Tree Capo Polonio, Uruguay: In Search of the Fabled Ombu Treee
Being in Cabo Polonio was like being in a galaxy far, far away. There was not a gas station, a Starbucks or a McDonald’s in sight. There were no newspaper kiosks, no cell phone rings, no cafes with Internet access. Often there were no lights because there was no electricity.

Renting a car in Europe allows you to see more, do more and have more fun.
And it is not as
expensive as you might think!
