August 2011 MONTHLY NEWSLETTER
Summer Travel Adventures...All Over the World!

Moonrise over Hobart, Tasmania.
Moonrise over Hobart, Tasmania, Australia

How many different places do our writers explore in the average month? Well, this month's no different than all the rest. We cover most of the world with this edition of our 10-year old newsletter.

Dispatches from the far southeastern corner of Turkey, a working holiday on the wild island of Corsica, France, Equitrekking the world on horseback, visiting a hunting lodge in Gascony France. Tasmania, too, is in the mix.

Travelers seek out places they've dreamed about; they follow those dreams onto paper, and then share them with friends and fellow travelers on GoNOMAD. We are so happy that so many of these writers have chosen to send them to us to share with you!

Travel books, too, are featured this month. A wonderful account of life in 2010's Chavez-dominated Venezuela, a post-college year in Mexico City, and an amazing journey by river all the way from London to Istanbul. Wow!!

It's just another month of great travel writing on GoNOMAD!
