There are many different types of volunteer opportunities available
around the world. Different organizations can very dramatically in
cost, and most have flexible time frames. Global Citizens Network
is a nonprofit organization out of St. Paul, Minn. It is designed
to unite people from all parts of the globe who share the goal of
promoting peace, tolerance, global cooperation and a cross-cultural
understanding as well as the preservation of indigenous cultures.
The organization has projects in New Mexico, Arizona, South Dakota,
