Arles and Van Gogh

From my window at the Ibis I can see that it is going to be another glorious sunny Provencal day, perfect for heading to the city of Arles. The city has numerous Roman ruins and was home to Vincent Van Gogh during his turbulent and tortured years. It was in Arles that he painted my favorite, Café de nuit. But first stop will be the market where things haven’t changed in centuries. Posted by Picasa

Since you are interested in Vincent’s life and work, you might want to look at the Notes section on www.theeyesofvangogh.com. I am the writer and director of the new independent film on his life.
